Tuna ora, wai ora is a project initiative to engage hapū kaitiaki in the area of freshwater management. The Ministry of Environment (MfE) have provided funding through addressing freshwater management objectives relating to te Mana o te Wai, in particular recognising and promoting mahinga kai values and traditions associated with our waterways.
